Termination of the validity of residence cards for family members of EU citizens in paper format starting from 3 August 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Article 8 of EU Regulation 2019\/1157, containing provisions on strengthening the security of identity cards and residence permits issued to EU citizens and their family members, established the termination of the validity of paper residence cards of family members of EU citizens starting from 3 August 2023.<\/p>\n

The holders of the aforementioned cards who have not converted their document will therefore have to obtain a visa for the purpose of crossing the borders, if required by their nationality.<\/p>\n

Those who have requested the updating of their title and whose application has not yet been finalized will be able to enter the national territory by direct flight by showing a copy of the receipt for the renewal of the residence document.<\/p>\n

All other cases will be able to re-enter Italy in order to regularize their position by requesting a \u201ctype C visa\u201d for EU tourism\/family. The checklist of documents to be provided on the day of the appointment is available in the visa section of the website of the Consulate General of Italy.<\/p>\n

Fin de la validit\u00e9 des cartes de s\u00e9jour des membres de la famille des citoyens de l’UE au format papier \u00e0 compter du 3 ao\u00fbt 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’article 8 du r\u00e8glement UE 2019\/1157, contenant des dispositions relatives au renforcement de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des cartes d’identit\u00e9 et des titres de s\u00e9jour d\u00e9livr\u00e9s aux citoyens de l’UE et aux membres de leur famille, a \u00e9tabli la fin de la validit\u00e9 des cartes de s\u00e9jour papier des membres de la famille des citoyens de l’UE \u00e0 compter du 3 ao\u00fbt 2023.<\/p>\n

Les titulaires des cartes pr\u00e9cit\u00e9es qui n’ont pas converti leur document devront donc obtenir un visa avant de franchir des fronti\u00e8res, si leur nationalit\u00e9 l’exige.<\/p>\n

Ceux qui ont demand\u00e9 la mise \u00e0 jour de leur titre et dont la demande n’a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 finalis\u00e9e pourront entrer sur le territoire national par vol direct en pr\u00e9sentant une copie du r\u00e9c\u00e9piss\u00e9 de renouvellement du titre de s\u00e9jour.<\/p>\n

Dans tous les autres cas, les int\u00e9ress\u00e9s pourront rentrer en Italie afin de r\u00e9gulariser leur situation en demandant un \u00ab\u00a0visa type C\u00a0\u00bb pour Tourisme\/ membre de famille UE, dont les conditions sont disponibles dans la section visa du site Internet du Consulat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d’Italie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Termination of the validity of residence cards for family members of EU citizens in paper format starting from 3 August 2023.
